Junior Software Developer

Our client is growing their IT team and looking for a Junior Software Developer to assist with various projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain code to meet requirements and specifications.
• Develop software solutions that align with the organization's goals and industry best practices.
• Analyse and troubleshoot complex issues in code and software systems.
• Identify and assess opportunities for business process automation.
• Work closely with end-users to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback during the development process.
• Follow coding standards, conventions, and best practices to maintain consistency and code quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, system architecture, and development processes.
• Where applicable ensure handover of documentation and training to IT support team for existing and new applications.

• Knowledge on HTML, Javascript and/or Java.
• Knowledge on MySQL.
• Fluency in English.
• Must be already based in Malta.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or similar OR work experience as a software developer.

• 10% performance bonus on the overall salary
