We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our clients team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pitching commercial and business media proposals to our large portfolio of clients and to potential new clients through cold calling and virtual meetings
  • Client relationship building, consolidating existing business relationships and nurturing new ones
  • Negotiating and closing leads on large packages in a successful and professional manner, always keeping our clients' interests at heart
  • Monitoring the local market as well as social media, and staying up-to-date with current affairs to continue widening our extensive client base through business development undertakings
  • Be continuously proactive on a business development front, looking out for opportunities for growth and consolidation on a daily basis.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • At least five (5) years of industry sales experience
  • Excellent communication in both Maltese AND English
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and sharp negotiation skills
  • Multi-tasking skills, focused, and agile to carry out tasks in a swift manner
  • Candidates need to follow the local media industry and be active in social media, including LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Candidates must be structured, resilient and ambitious
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

An attractive remuneration package is rewarded through the advertised gross basic salary, a 4-tier commission structure, monthly target bonuses, and annual performance bonuses, once monthly and annual targets are reached.
