Head Chef

Cin Cin Ltd. in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Head Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
We are looking for a Head Chef to join our dynamic team at Zitti Restaurant at the vibrant Merchants Street Valletta.
The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant kitchen. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for menu development
• Ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective product
• Hiring, training, and overseeing kitchen staff
• Train, develop and motivate supervisors and staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards
• Providing a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Leadership and management skills, with the ability to work well in a team, lead by example, motivate and lead a team
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office programmes, and restaurant software
• Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or similar
• Food Handling Licence B.
