Hyatt Centric Malta invites you to be part of our pre-opening journey as we search for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Maintenance. 

As the Head of Maintenance you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and facilities management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors, providing guidance and support as needed
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment, machinery, and facilities within the organization
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruption to operations
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in regards to maintenance operations
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting and cost control measures
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to maintenance operations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
