Accounts Clerk

Gutenberg Press Ltd in Malta is currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Transaction postings into the Accounting System and other systems
• Maintenance of the sales, purchase and nominal ledger
• Maintenance of customer accounts, including assistance with credit management
• Administer the invoicing process
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts and others as required
• Recording petty cash, preparing bank deposits and issuing supplier payments
• Assist in the vetting of Internal Control Processes
• Give administrative support to aid the operation of the finance department, including maintaining procedures, filing, and records
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Experience:

• Minimum of O’ level, and preferably A’ level qualification in Accounts or AAT certificate
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus 
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
